Solutions

What underpins our approach is that we are experienced practitioners ourselves. And we’re passionate about continuously exploring better together. Learn more about how we’ve helped clients .

Risk & Regulation

We work across the full GRC spectrum – risk and compliance policies, risk appetite statements, target operating models, business resilience frameworks, controls uplift and assurance programs, remediation projects and regulatory responses. We scope each engagement around your actual problem, not a service catalogue.
Our team has held senior risk and compliance roles across financial services including investment managers, responsible entities, banks and insurance companies. We know what good looks like because we’ve built it, and we know where the gaps hide because we’ve found them before.
When you need experienced hands quickly – for a regulatory response, a Board-level risk framework refresh or a post-incident remediation – we step in without a ramp-up period.
We’ve designed target operating models for firms going through growth or structural change, built risk appetite frameworks that actually inform decision-making rather than sit in a drawer, and delivered assurance programs that give boards genuine confidence in their control environment. Whether you’re a large institution managing a complex regulatory change program or a boutique manager that needs a right-sized compliance framework, we tailor our approach to your business.

Financial Crime

Financial crime obligations are getting harder to meet and the consequences of getting it wrong – enforcement action, licence conditions, reputational damage – are serious. We work with firms to build AML/CTF, sanctions and anti-bribery programs that are genuinely fit for purpose, not just compliant on paper.
That means AML/CTF programs and risk assessments that reflect your actual customer base and product set, transaction monitoring calibrated to your real risk profile, KYC frameworks that hold up under scrutiny, and sanctions screening processes that are operationally sustainable. For firms with cross-border operations or global investor bases, we bring experience navigating the intersection of Australian obligations with international regimes.
We also conduct independent evaluations of existing AML/CTF programs – reviewing your program against AUSTRAC expectations, stress-testing your controls, identifying gaps and providing a clear, prioritised remediation roadmap before a regulator does it for you. For firms that have received regulatory feedback or are responding to an AUSTRAC audit, we provide hands-on support to get programs back to where they need to be.

Outsourced GRC

Hiring a senior compliance professional is expensive, slow and increasingly competitive – and when you do find the right person, retaining them is another challenge entirely. We offer a practical alternative: ongoing GRC support structured around your business, your licence obligations and your risk appetite.
We work with a broad range of financial services firms on an outsourced basis – from early-stage fintechs and boutique investment managers who need their first compliance framework built properly, to mid-sized superannuation funds and responsible entities that need senior expertise without the full-time headcount. Whether you need a fractional Head of Compliance, a standing risk and compliance committee, or a fully outsourced compliance function, we build an arrangement that fits your size, complexity and budget today and scales as you grow.
You get practitioner-level capability without the fixed overhead. Our team stays current with regulatory change across ASIC, APRA and AUSTRAC so you don’t have to.

Training & Education

Most compliance training is forgettable because it’s generic, delivered by people who have never had to apply what they’re teaching. Ours is different, because we teach from experience, not textbooks.
Our trainers have managed regulatory investigations, built compliance frameworks from scratch, sat in front of ASIC, APRA and AUSTRAC, and operated as senior risk and compliance professionals across superannuation, funds management, banking, and insurance. That experience shapes every session we design.
We work with boards, senior executives and operational teams across financial services firms of all sizes. A superannuation fund trustee board preparing for an APRA governance review needs a different conversation to a boutique asset manager’s investment desk being trained on conflicts management and market integrity obligations. And we design accordingly. Sessions range from board-level briefings on emerging regulatory risk and director obligations, to practical AML/CTF and sanctions workshops for compliance and operations teams, to scenario-based training built around real incidents and near-misses relevant to your business. We also support firms going through significant regulatory change – new licensing, framework uplifts, post-remediation – where embedding understanding across the business is as important as the technical fix. We make it relevant, contextual and built to stick.

Technology and AI

We built our own RegTech because we couldn’t find tools that reflected how compliance actually works in practice. Know Your Distributor (KYD) is a purpose-built platform for Australian product issuers and distributors managing Design and Distribution Obligation (DDO) compliance. KYD automates distributor due diligence, tracks distributor reviews and generates the audit trail your compliance team needs.
Beyond KYD, we advise financial services firms on RegTech selection and implementation across the broader GRC stack. The compliance technology market is crowded and the gap between what vendors promise and what platforms deliver is significant. We help firms identify the right tools for their specific obligations, avoid over-engineered solutions and ensure implementation embeds into your compliance program rather than sitting alongside it.
AI is changing what’s possible in GRC. We help firms identify practical AI applications across their compliance function: automating regulatory change monitoring, streamlining policy documentation, enhancing transaction monitoring and accelerating board reporting. We also help firms build proportionate AI governance frameworks – model risk policies, AI risk assessments, accountability structures and human oversight protocols – so that how you deploy AI is as defensible as what you deploy it for.
